Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on telemetry needs and managing cardiac drips.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care on a 40-bed medical/surgical telemetry floor.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Diltiazem, Amiodarone, and other medications.
• Participate in the care and recovery pathway for colorectal surgery patients.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards using Cerner.
• Utilize the Omnicell medication system for safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN; first-time travelers with 2-3 years of experience and experience in Epic or Cerner are encouraged to apply.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Willingness to float to different areas as needed.
• Availability for weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis.

The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric patients, with a specific focus on telemetry monitoring and care management.
