Speech Language Pathologist (Allied)

Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role involves developing comprehensive treatment plans and ensuring high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients’ needs and establish therapy goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Provide therapy for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans as required.
• Educate patients and families regarding communication disorders and treatment techniques.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a college or university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Preferred experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Work Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
