Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oncology Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in the oncology unit, focusing on chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and ongoing care.
• Float to other medical units based on staffing needs and skillset as required.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification is required.
• Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients is preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule, every other weekend.
• Must have reliable transportation for assignments across multiple locations, including but not limited to various locations within the region.

Additional Information:

• Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
• Block scheduling is utilized.
• Shifts are 12 hours long, from 07:00 to 19:00.
• No on-call duty is required.
• Parking is free of charge.
