Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Outpatient Cancer Center. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, assisting patients and healthcare professionals in delivering quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers in routine clinical tasks within the Cancer Center and Breast Center.
• Respond to internal calls as needed to facilitate patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to support patient needs effectively.
• Float between the Cancer Center and Breast Center as required, which are connected by a shared hallway.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification in BLS and CMA (AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, NHA) is required.
• Ability to work during day shifts (5×8 hours) from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Availability to float between similar units as needed.

Additional Information

• No weekend work is required.
• Parking options available: Hang-tags and key-cards at a specified fee.
• Charting will be performed using Epic software.
