Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position requires expertise in assisting with various interventional procedures, maintaining a safe and effective environment for patients and staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including patient preparation and monitoring.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images are obtained.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Specialized training or certification in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic technology principles, protocols, and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work weekends and major holidays as required.

Work Schedule:

This position offers a day shift with four 10-hour shifts per week, with the expectation of being available for weekend shifts as needed. Open availability for three of five major holidays is also required.
