Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This position is focused on providing exceptional care to individuals recovering from loss of function due to injury or illness. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing and implementing specialized rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the individual needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer individualized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation programs as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Promote a supportive and rehabilitative environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or a related field.
• Current licensure or certification in the relevant healthcare profession.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
