Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 4×12 Nights (1900-0700)

Weekends: Required every other weekend

Floating: Required across units

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our high-volume unit. The role involves providing care primarily to patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Acute Myocardial Infarction (MI), post-device care (such as pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias.

Unit Information

• Unit Size: 26 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7

The Registered Nurse will also have responsibilities in a general surgery unit, which includes caring for patients undergoing various procedures such as colon rectal surgeries, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic surgeries, and breast reconstructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
• EPIC charting experience is required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications must be provided upon submittal
• Must hold a New York nursing license
• Locals are not accepted; applicants must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
