ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic charting systems.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must successfully pass the EKG exam.
• Ability to float to sister locations as needed, based on facility requirements.
• Open to working weekends on an every-other-weekend basis.

Additional Information

• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12-hour schedule (19:00 – 07:00).
• Flexible block scheduling may be accommodated based on team needs.
• Guaranteed hours with a call-off policy as per contract terms.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
• Travelers must be away for at least 1 year before reapplying for a traveling position.
• Only one contract extension is allowed before a 6-month break is required.
