Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires experience and a dedication to patient care during urgent situations.
Shift Details
- Shift: Night 4×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
- Block schedules are not available.
- Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
Job Requirements
- Must have at least 2-3 years of emergency room experience.
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- May float to nearby sister facilities as needed, though this is rare.
Certifications Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Additional Information
This position does not accept local candidates. Guaranteed hours include:
- 8 and 10-hour shifts: 40 hours in one workweek.
- 3, 12-hour shifts: 36 hours in one workweek.
- 4, 12-hour shifts: 48 hours in one workweek.
