Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). This role is essential in supporting patients with their daily living activities and overall well-being.

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any concerns to the RN. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and attentive, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required

Essential Functions

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including nutrition and hydration, personal care, and positioning.
• Take and record vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Support patients with basic needs including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Perform clerical duties, including routing patient reports and maintaining unit organization.
• Provide assessment data to the certified nurse within the scope of practice.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned.
