Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team with a focus on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in orthopedics and bariatrics, and will excel in a fast-paced environment.

Shift

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, utilizing the Pyxis medication system.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units or nearby facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid South Carolina RN license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience within the specialty required for first-time travelers.
• At least 1 year of experience with the EPIC electronic health record system.

Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with a background in orthopedics and bariatric nursing, as well as telemetry unit experience.

Additional Information

This role may involve floating to other units or facilities in close proximity as needed. Candidates should be flexible, with a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients.
