Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing basic nuclear medicine procedures, primarily focusing on stress tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct basic nuclear medicine studies and procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care and safety.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using Epic.
• Participate in weekend call and be available for additional shifts as needed.

Shift Information

This position offers flexible scheduling options, including:

• 4 shifts of 10 hours
• 5 shifts of 8 hours
• 3 shifts of 12 hours

Shifts will be scheduled on a day basis, with variable start times at either 6:00 AM or 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• California State License in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ARRT and NMTCB certifications.

Facility Overview

This is an acute care facility with a total of 212 staffed beds, providing a supportive environment for both staff and patients. Free parking is available for all employees.

Additional Information

All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be approved based on the facility’s needs. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks, and weekends may require on-call coverage.
