Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of basic nuclear medicine studies, primarily focusing on stress tests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient preparation and management, the administration of radiopharmaceuticals, and the operation of gamma cameras and related technology.

Schedule

• Open to 4×10, 5×8, or 3×12 hour shifts.
• Variable start times at either 06:00 or 07:30.
• Weekend call is required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• First-time applicants are welcome.
• Required certifications: BLS, California State License, ARRT, NMTCB.
• Must include all requests for time off at the time of submission, as approval will be based on facility needs.
