Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg telemetry experience required.
• Valid permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand is mandatory.
• Current certification in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Schedule

This position consists of three 12-hour shifts during the day, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
