Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, consult with physicians to develop effective treatment plans, and monitor and document patient progress accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians to formulate individualized treatment strategies.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient charts.

Qualifications

• Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
• Active CRT and RRT license required.
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Successful completion of a certification examination.

Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged standing and/or sitting with infrequent bending, stooping, or stretching. The candidate must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and demonstrate good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Use of office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, or copiers will be necessary. Flexibility in hours is required to accommodate occasional early or late meetings.
