ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Resource Center. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU/Tele units.
• Float among various ICU/Tele units based on facility needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely using Cerner charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Open to first-time travelers.
• Availability to work weekends is required.
• Local candidates are accepted; however, pending licenses are not accepted.

Additional Information

• Up to 5 days of request time off (RTO) allowed, with 1 holiday off as approved.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with a potential cancellation of up to 3 shifts during the assignment.
• Free parking available for staff.
• Uniform scrub colors are not specified, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed.
