Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our new unit. This role will involve providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry setting.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3×12 Days (06:45 AM – 07:15 PM)
• Ratios: 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Unit Details

• New unit building from the ground up
• Bedside Monitor with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Charge responsibilities are shared between step-down and the 3 West unit
• Current status: 18 beds
• Off-shift management available via phone
• 24/7 house supervisor coverage

Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in MS/Tele or Telemetry, including interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• License Required: South Carolina license or compact license must be in hand prior to start
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Preferred Experience: Community hospital experience

• RTO Restrictions: All requested time off must be included at submission
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please consider this when confirming any new or extended assignments.
