ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in community hospital experience and a proven ability to provide excellent patient care in high-pressure environments.

Shift Details

This position offers 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Options for 36-hour or 48-hour work weeks are available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including dysrhythmias.
• Administer care for patients with pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Perform central line care and management.
• Initiate IV access and provide care for ventilated patients.
• Manage ventilator settings and monitor patient responses.
• Ensure adherence to practice standards while floating to Med/Surgical and Telemetry units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with Accudose medication systems and Cerner documentation systems is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively using the SBAR method.

Additional Information

Candidates must be available for weekend coverage, with the expectation of working every other weekend. The position involves care for adult patients, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are maintained throughout.

Scrubs

Scrubs should be blue in color.
