ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses looking to expand their clinical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary health teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and treatments.
• Perform floating duties to Telemetry as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting required.
• Current ACLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
• Open Heart surgery experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Impella devices is preferred.

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts, from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend and every other holiday.

Duration

The initial contract will be for a duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.
