Acute Care Float Pool

We are seeking experienced healthcare providers for the Acute Care Float Pool. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across various units, including medical, surgical, telemetry, infusion, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the hospital according to staffing needs and patient care requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills are essential.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend is required.
• Must be open to floating to various units within the hospital.
• Local candidates are welcome; pending licenses are not accepted.

Additional Information:

• Ratios: 1:5 for patient assignments.
• Guaranteed hours may be subject to low census adjustments, with potential for call-off procedures.
• Scrubs: Any color (scrubs provided for OR personnel).
• Charting system utilized: EPIC.
• Monthly parking fee applies.
