ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for critically ill adult patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver cohesive patient care.
• Assist with patient care in the Med-Surg unit when ICU census is low.
• Maintain compliance with necessary certifications and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Ability to handle a flexible workload, including working weekends (6 weekend shifts per schedule period).
• Comfortable working in a rural critical access hospital environment.
• Competent in caring for critically ill adult patients.

Working Conditions

• Position may float between ICU and Med-Surg units.
• General nursing ratios in ICU are 1:2-3, depending on acuity.
• No on-call duty is required.
