Observation Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Observation Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will involve providing high-quality patient care within a short-term acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions in the observation unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient status and care in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and follow-up needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Float to other units as required based on patient needs and skill set.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to float between multiple locations as needed.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift: 3×12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00).
• Mandatory weekends: every other weekend or every weekend.
• No block scheduling available.

Additional Information:

• Must possess a valid vehicle for this assignment.
• Parking is provided at no cost.
• Floating between various units and locations may be required, based on operational needs.
