Mammography Technologist

Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammography imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to providing top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations on patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Obtain patient histories and confirm the appropriateness of the examination.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Educate patients regarding mammography procedures and follow-up care as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Mammography (ARRT M).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active state licensure in Washington.

Schedule

Days: 5×8 hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.

Additional Information

Applicants with a compact license from states other than Washington are welcome to apply, provided they have been separated from their previous position for at least three months. All relevant certifications must be active and up-to-date.
