MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position requires both technical proficiency and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients as per the prescribed protocols.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring comfort and compliance during scans.
• Utilize imaging equipment effectively to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to MRI procedures.
• Administer contrast media and handle related patient interactions as needed.
• Document and process images accurately using PACS systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience preferred; first-time applicants accepted.
• Current ARRT-R certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma settings.
• Demonstrated skills in Abdomen and Pelvis MRI, Chest MRI, Head and Neck MRI, and Musculoskeletal MRI.
• Required professional knowledge in isolation precautions, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts.
• Familiarity with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS is important.

Work Schedule

This position requires the candidate to work every Friday and Saturday, maintaining flexibility around scheduling requests.

Additional Information

• Parking options are available, with validation provided for the first day of work, followed by designated rates for continued parking.
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally, no more than five days of requested time off.
• Guaranteed Hours: Please note that the facility may cancel shifts at any time without penalty.
