Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Float Pool Nurse to join our team. This position requires significant experience in both the Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and the ability to adapt to various clinical settings.

Shift Information

• Various shifts available
• 12-hour shifts, evenings and nights
• 72-80 hours per 2 weeks

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in both ER and ICU settings
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS

Role Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for ER and ICU patients
• Float to other nursing units as needed
• Assist with patient transport and provide telemetry monitoring
• Participate as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams
• Support clinical staff by expediting processes on other floors and assisting with patient sitters
