We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic role in the Emergency Department. This position requires a dedicated professional with the ability to manage a variety of patient cases, including STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma patients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to adult patients.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation skills
• Certifications:
• TNCC
• ACLS
• NIH
• MOAB
• BLS
• PALS

Preferred Skills & Experience

• ENPC certification
• Trauma experience

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: Non-Critical patients 3:1; Critical patients 2:1; Medical boarders in ED 5:1
• Contract Length: Accepting both 48-hour and 13-week contracts
• Shift: 12-hour mids (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
• Call Requirement: No call
• Float Requirement: No float assignments
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Average patient visits per day: ~170
• Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR

Orientation

Orientation will be provided for 36 to 48 hours.

Dress Code

Scrubs are not provided; navy blue scrubs are required.

Additional Information

Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialized role. There is no block scheduling offered for this position.
