Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview

This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and the capacity to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 3×12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
• Shifts may include weekends and vary based on facility needs.
• No on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted, provided they have emergency room experience.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
• Required certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred certifications include Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Epic electronic health record experience is required.

Additional Information

• Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June through November).
• Local radius for applicants is 60 miles; local candidates are not accepted.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
• Guaranteed hours may be adjusted during the assignment; facilities may call off one shift every two weeks.
