Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with experience in outpatient settings to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in OB anatomy, breast, and general ultrasound examinations, with preferred experience in musculoskeletal, vascular (for venous studies), and neonatal head and hip imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations primarily focused on OB and general cases.
• Review orders and assist in the development of imaging protocols in an outpatient setting.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and results.
• Maintain equipment and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• May float between inpatient and outpatient departments as needed.

Work Schedule

The position involves four 10-hour day shifts with variable days of the week. No weekend or on-call duties are required, although holiday coverage may be necessary on major holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including outpatient experience.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification in Ultrasound.
• BLS certification.
• Travel experience is preferred.
