Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing essential care to patients experiencing severe medical conditions.

• Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
• Holidays: Occasionally

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Emergency Room (ER)
• Manager: Haley Wahl
• Beds/Trauma Bays: 33 beds, 2 trauma bays
• Patients Per Day: 125-140
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per nurse
• EMR System: Epic
• Security: 24/7 onsite security
• Staffing Support: ED Technicians, IV Team, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy available 24/7
• Common Diagnoses: Emergency situations including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and acute coronary syndrome

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Candidates must have completed at least one previous travel assignment

The Emergency Room operates in a high-intensity environment that requires quick decision-making and the ability to float between multiple locations if necessary. Candidates should be prepared to adapt quickly to changing situations and work as part of a collaborative team.
