Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a pivotal role within the Oncology/MedSurg/Tele unit. This position will encompass providing exceptional patient care while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient advocacy and quality nursing practices.

Schedule Options

• 3 shifts of 12 hours (3×12) or 4 shifts of 12 hours (4×12) available
• Overtime is compensated after 48 hours for 4×12 schedules
• This position requires working every other weekend, floating, and holidays

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Maintain a typical patient ratio of 1:7, ensuring high-quality care and attention.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of recent and relevant nursing experience is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license must be held at the time of submission.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records is required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
