Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in X-ray and CT for a third shift position. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient evaluation and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain equipment and comply with safety standards and procedures.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Radiography certification via ARRT.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Current KS LRT license (KSBHA LRT).
• Experience in CT preferred, though certification is not mandatory.
• Completion of at least 2 travel contracts is required; first-time travelers will not be considered.

Shift Details

This position is for third shift, working 20 hours one week and 52 hours the next, with a consistent schedule throughout the assignment. Shifts will be:

• Wednesday and Thursday: 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend: Friday 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Additional Information

Overtime will be applicable after 48 hours during the 52-hour weeks, with 4 hours of OT available for those weeks. A drug screening will be conducted on-site as part of compliance requirements. It is essential to have housing arrangements in place due to recent issues in this regard.

Note: The facility has a cancellation policy allowing one shift cancellation every 14 days. Candidates must be over 45 miles from the facility, and mileage must be included in the submission packet.
