Perfusionist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Perfusionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have pediatric experience and will play a vital role in operating room services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate heart-lung machines during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients’ physiological parameters and adjust equipment accordingly.
• Maintain perfusion equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Be prepared to stay beyond scheduled hours if surgical cases extend past the normal shift.

Shift Details

This position requires a Day 5×8 hour shift, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Candidates should be available for call every night while on coverage.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification required, accredited by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
• Active Tennessee license required.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.
• Must be willing to adhere to a 100-mile radius rule; candidates living outside this radius will not be accepted.
