Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Neuro Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, while delivering compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings to identify any changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and promote health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to working three 12-hour night shifts each week, from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are also required, with an expectation of six weekend shifts every six-week schedule period.

Floating Requirements

The Neuro Tele Registered Nurse may be required to float between units based on patient care needs.

Patient Ratios

The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, ensuring each nurse can provide focused care to their assigned patients.

Dress Code

The dress code for licensed nursing personnel includes solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire, with print tops not being acceptable (with exceptions in specialized areas). Unlicensed personnel should wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire.

Additional Information

The position does not require on-call duty and 48-hour work weeks are approved.
