Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a 54-bed Cardiovascular telemetry unit. This unit is organized into three 18-bed wings, with additional care provided in the Overflow unit as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for cardiovascular telemetry patients.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as needed.

Shift Information

This position requires working 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with a schedule of three shifts a week. Flexible scheduling is preferred, and weekend availability is mandatory every other weekend, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care in an intensive monitoring environment.
• Experience in a telemetry or cardiovascular nursing setting is preferred.
