Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide coordinated nursing care for patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. In this role, you will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, while coordinating care with other disciplines. Utilize your critical thinking skills, professional judgment, and independent decision-making capabilities to ensure exceptional patient care.
Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health and situation.
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Developing a care plan that prescribes appropriate interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Implementing the care plan and coordinating care delivery to promote health in a safe environment.
- Evaluating patient progress toward achieving outcomes and modifying care plans as necessary.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Providing educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegating responsibilities to healthcare team members as needed.
- Performing any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Additional certifications including AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS, and S.T.A.B.L.E Certification (STABLE) are required.
- At least two years of recent experience in the field is preferred.
