Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

The main campus Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, ranking among the top 10 busiest EDs in Ohio. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• 36 hours per week
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation are required

Role Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-moving environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least 3 Emergency Department assignments and/or possess 3 years of current or recent Emergency Department experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are strongly preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records is required.

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
