Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

The Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering competent care based on established standards and is accountable under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This position includes an expanded role with potential responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and participation in committee activities.

Schedule

• Blocked Weekends
• Weekends/Holidays
• On-Call/Callback as needed

Responsibilities

The Level II Registered Nurse will engage in:

• Providing clinical practice and service excellence
• Maintaining professional development
• Conducting research and applying evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Telemetry experience required
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
• NIHSS certification
