ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an ICU Registered Nurse, providing exemplary care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced medical environment. This position involves working nights in the Medical ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care and support to families during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and execute treatment plans.
• Support families by providing updates and education regarding patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in nursing practice.

Shift Details

This position requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in an ICU setting.
• Permanent Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License is required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross are mandatory.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required, with acceptable scores for both assessments.
