Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for patients with wound care needs across various units. This role involves evaluating and consulting on pressure injuries and other wound-related conditions. The position operates during regular day shifts, Monday through Friday, ensuring no weekend work is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with wound care needs.
• Provide consultations and evaluations for pressure injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care management.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Wound care certification is preferred, with a plan to achieve it within a determined period.

Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility as the RN will be seeing patients from various units based on wound care needs. Any scrub color is acceptable for this role.
