Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a critical care environment. This position requires expertise in managing complex medical conditions and delivering high-quality care to adult patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patients’ conditions through assessment and analysis of vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individual care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery processes.
• Maintain a safe and effective patient care environment.
• Float to similar units as required, adapting to diverse patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience required.
• Current Life Support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI are mandatory.
• Active state nursing license to practice is required.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Experience with stroke management is preferred.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and float as needed based on departmental guidelines.
• Availability to start on the listed start date or within one week is expected.
• Candidates must provide requested documentation including driver’s license and recent skills checklist.
