Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a float pool position, working between Labor & Delivery (LDR) and Antenatal Care Unit (ACU). This role is designed for a flexible candidate who is passionate about providing high-quality nursing care in a dynamic environment.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every weekend required
• Contract term: Start – 11/02/2026, End – 01/02/2027
• No extensions available

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Labor & Delivery and Antenatal Care Unit settings.
• Adapt to various units and patient needs while ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Maintain and document patient care, assessments, and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (or compact, if applicable to the state).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• NRP certification.
• Fetal monitoring certification (mandatory for Labor & Delivery).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, or High-Risk OB.
• Experience in float pool or adaptability to multiple units preferred.

Vaccination Requirements

• Flu vaccine – no exemptions allowed.
• COVID-19 vaccine – no exemptions allowed.

Documentation and Health Requirements

• Compliance with all required health documentation, including proof of immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap).
• Annual TB Questionnaire and fit test documentation may be required.
• Driver’s License or State ID may be required for onboarding.
