Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position focuses on delivering exceptional care for adult women of childbearing age in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Night Shift: 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
• Either 3×12 or 4×12 shifts are acceptable
• Weekend work required unless stated otherwise in the schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for women in labor
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC for charting patient information

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• First-time travelers are welcome if they have 3+ years of L&D experience
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP are required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification is preferred
• Epic experience is essential

Additional Information

• Unit details: 7 labor beds, 3 triage, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby rooms
• Floating within the hospital is expected; however, there will be no floating to sister hospitals
• No block schedule accommodations available
• Must work holidays; maximum of 1 week of time off (RTO) allowed
