Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU/Stepdown

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown setting. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage and titrate cardiac drips, which is a critical requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a PCU/Stepdown environment.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips, ensuring proper titration and management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (Epic).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or Stepdown nursing.
• Proven experience in managing and titrating cardiac drips.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Work Schedule

Shifts are scheduled for 3 consecutive 12-hour days, from 07:00 to 19:00. Candidates may select one holiday—Thanksgiving or Christmas—but may not choose both.
