Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The ideal candidate will provide quality care in a pulmonary-focused unit, handling patients with prolonged stays, including those with tracheostomies, COPD, and asthma.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias effectively
- BCLS and NIH certifications are mandatory
- Telemetry skills preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome

Job Details
- Patient Ratios: 5:1, running up to 6:1 when necessary
- Shift: 36-hour week offered, 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
- Contract Length: 16 weeks up to February 27, 2027
- RTO: Maximum of 7 days for auto-offers; on-site RTO is not permitted
- Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends (6 shifts total) every 6 weeks
- Floating: Required within the service line
Unit Information
This nursing team specializes in managing pulmonary patients who may require tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP/CPAP) support; mechanical ventilation is not utilized.
Scheduling and Scrubs
Shifts are self-scheduled and balanced based on unit needs and leadership input. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue and white combinations are required.
Additional Notes
All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to the start of the position.
