Registered Nurse (RN): Med/Surg

Position Information:

• Unit: Medical/Surgical
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Rotation every other weekend; additional scheduling may occur based on needs.
• Call Requirements: Yes, staff may be placed on call or floated depending on census.
• Float Requirements: Yes, responsibilities may include medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER (task assignments for OB and ER), with potential to care for low-level Med/Surg overflow patients in ICU with a ratio of 1:3.

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Experience and Education:

• Years of Experience: 1-2+ years in Med/Surg
• Required Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN or LPN/LVN in the state of practice.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 19
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Equipment: Welch Allyn vital machines, bedside masimno, careview, telemetry, sara stedy, ARJO lift.
• EHR: Medhost – Clinical Experience
• Patient Population: Primarily geriatric and adult patients, with limited pediatric patients (3-4 per year).
