Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. The unit cares for a variety of diagnoses, with primary services including acute care for surgical patients, orthopedic and trauma overflow, as well as progressive care unit patients.

Shift Information

• 3×12-Hour Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:30
• 3×12-Hour Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:30

Role Responsibilities

• Caring for patients with medical and surgical needs
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Utilizing Rapid Response/Code teams as necessary
• Implementing IV insulin protocols
• Caring for and managing feeding tubes

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience; previous travel experience is mandatory
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Required skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry monitoring, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Weekend Requirements

• A minimum of 4 weekend shifts every 4-week period is required.
• For night shift staff, Sunday is not counted as a weekend shift; weekend shifts are Friday and Saturday nights only.

Floating Requirements

Travelers are expected to float out first when scheduled and will be the first to float out, which is an established expectation.

• WMC Permit: 24/7 access to the designated garage with monthly payment options.
• WB Permit: Access to specific garages and lots with annual payment options.
• CXS Permit: Access to various lots with annual payment options for weekends and holidays.

Prorated refunds for unused future months may be available for annual permits, while current and prior months are non-refundable. Cancellation should be done by the last business day of the month.
