Registered Nurse (RN) / ICU

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who is able to provide high-quality nursing care during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitoring vital signs and patient conditions closely and reporting any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about post-treatment care and medication management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Permanent residency must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The facility can accommodate requests for 48-hour work weeks.

Duration

The initial contract will be for a period of 13 weeks.
