Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the surgical department, providing high-quality care to adult patients and minimal pediatric cases in an operating room setting.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Weekend Requirements: On-call for weekends, as needed
• Call Requirements: 7 days per month, including weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and participate in planning and executing patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (ADN or BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse (OR experience is mandatory).
• Preferred skills in orthopedic or neuro procedures.

• Number of Operating Room Beds: 13
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Robotics (Da Vinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, Hana table
• EHR: Cerner
