Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing nursing staff activities while coordinating patient care with other disciplines. The ideal candidate will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in various situations.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Collecting and analyzing relevant patient data for health assessments.
- Developing care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Implementing care plans, coordinating delivery of care, and promoting health and safety.
- Evaluating patient progress toward achieving desired health outcomes.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective care.
- Providing educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Facilitating discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegating tasks appropriately among healthcare team members.
- Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor is required.
