Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Float

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various medical-surgical and telemetry units while demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing interventions, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; Associate degree accepted.
• Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system required.
• Willingness to work Every Other Weekend (EOW) as part of the scheduling requirements.

Shift Information

This position requires working 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
